New IT and Computer Services
Over the past year and half Ironclad Tech Services has been working on and testing solutions that would allow us to provide Managed Services to our customers. It has been a long road but one we felt was worth it.
When we started this journey we were looking for a way to better serve our customers by being more efficient and timely with the services we provided. Managed Services was the answer and we feel that our current and future customers will see the value as well.
In addition we are offering some of the individual components, that we have in our Managed Service packages, as stand alone services. This way those that do not need or want the complete coverage that Managed Services provides still have the opportunity to receive some of the benefits from individual services we offer.
What is Managed Services
Before we go any further lets define what Managed Services is. It is not a term most people are familiar with.
Managed Services provides on-going remote monitoring, remote management and preventive maintenance of technology for one flat monthly rate.
In the IT (Information Technology) field, this is a type of service that has been available for many years but continues to grow in popularity since it addresses so many technology needs of a business.
The reason it fulfills the technology needs of a business because it focuses on the prevention of issues as well as preparing for incidents if they do occur. By doing this the business impact of technology issues is reduced. Think of it this way, companies like ours use to get paid to react to situations (meaning something broke and we got called). Instead with Managed Services we are providing on-going services that allow many of the technology issues to be resolved before they become an issue to the business.
Additional I have seen, especially when we manage a network for a business, that we are notified of and address network issues before the business experiences any negative impact.
In today’s business environment we (as businesses) have become dependent on technology to drive and grow our business. Properly designed, implemented and maintained technology systems can provide a business with a competitive advantage in today’s marketplace.
How is Ironclad Tech Services Different?
So now you understand the importance of providing “preventive maintenance” for the technology that drives your business but why Ironclad Tech Services and not some other service provider?
I feel the most important reason is we have developed and positioned our services (Managed Services and Non Managed Services) to address any need a small or medium sized business might have.
This means we can provide a business with any IT (Information Technology), Networking, Communications, Collaboration, Mobile, Smart Business, Audio/Video, Website and Physical Security services they would need to operate, grow, manage and protect their business.
Bottom line is we can provide Managed Services for all the noted services above as well as Physical Security. Providing Managed Services for both the IT and Physical Security side of the house is a key difference between us and other service providers. At least right now most service providers cannot provide Managed Services for both.
Conclusion
I will add additional articles over the next few days that will cover the additional advantages of Managed Services as well as the specific services we provide in our different Managed Service packages as well as ones we offer as stand alone services.
